House Rules

  1. Smoking, vaping, marijuana, illegal drugs and e-cigarettes are NOT allowed, inside or outside on balconies or patios.  Tidewater is a smoke free facility.  Smoke of any kind on the property will incur an additional $300 smoke removal fee.
  2. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Security-enforced building quiet hours are from 10:00p.m. – 10:00a.m.
  3. People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the on-line registration, may not stay overnight in the property.  Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.  Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit of 6.
  4. All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 
  5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
  6. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
  7. Do NOT put shrimp shells, oyster shells, seashells, sand, glass, plastic or bones in the food/garbage disposal in the sink.  
  8. Pets are NOT allowed. Unauthorized pets will incur an additional $300 cleaning fee and be removed from the premises.
  9. Do NOT spray sunscreen/oil inside the condo.  Do NOT sit on the inside furniture with wet bathing suits or applied sunscreen.  It will stain the furniture and you will be responsible for the damage.  
  10. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.  Parking on the road is not permitted.  Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.  Parking passes will be provided upon check-in. Renters must display parking pass on the rear-view mirror or dashboard at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renter’s expense.
  11. Housekeeping:  There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.  We do not permit white towels or linens to be taken from the unit.  DO NOT hang towels on balcony railing.
  12. Patio Door: Do not open the front door when the patio door is open. The force of the wind will cause the door to slam and damage the door and frame. Do not leave the patio door open. If you leave the patio door open for more than 2 minutes the HVAC system will turn off and will remain off for 5 minutes after the door is closed.
  13. You must be at least 25 years old, be a guest during the reservation dates, and have a valid photo ID to make a reservation and check-in at Tidewater Beach Resort.
  14. Beach Chairs: Beach chairs must come inside the unit every night.  PCB has a “Leave No Trace” law and items on the beach unattended after 7pm will be picked up and destroyed. You will be responsible for lost beach chairs and/or the beach umbrella.
  15. Storms:  If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations.  No refunds will be given for rain. We highly recommend trip insurance for those who are worried about the weather.
  16. COVID Policy:  We highly recommend travel insurance as refunds are not given if you cannot travel due to being diagnosed with COVID-19. You may not enter our property if you or anyone traveling with you
    1. Has had a fever in the last 7 days.
    2. Have recently been diagnosed with or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
    3. If you’ve recently had close contact with someone who has COVID-19.
  17. Cancelation Policy:
    1. If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the rental fee will be refunded as follows: 
      • 100 % if cancelled 30 days prior to the Check-in Date 
      • 50 % if cancelled 15-29 days prior to the Check-in Date
      • NO Refund if cancelled 0-14 days prior to the Check-in Date
    2. Cancellations due to weather:  Refunds due to weather only when mandatory evacuations are issued.  If a mandatory evacuation is ordered for the property the unused days will be refunded.   No refunds for rain or hurricanes.
    3. No refunds if you cannot travel due to being diagnosed with COVID-19
    4. Refunds are given when a mandatory closure of short-term rentals is issued.    
  18. Security Cameras, Video Door Bell and Smart Devices: All elevators and common areas are monitored 24/7 via video by the onsite building security.  There is a video doorbell prior to entering the unit. If at anytime you need to contact us you can by pushing the doorbell, it will send a notification to my phone. There is also a smart hub, DO NOT tamper with, unplug or cover any of these devises. 
  19. Check Out Procedure: Check out time is/or before 10AM.  If you check out during June and July, you may want to pack luggage in your car the night before as luggage carts are in high demand during Saturday mornings. Do not leave valuables inside the car.
    • Before departure please be sure to do the following:
      • Place all garbage/trash/leftover fridge items in the trash chute nearest your unit. They are located on the west and east end of each walkway.
      • Load and run the dishwasher.
      • Leave the used towels in the tub. Do not wash or leave them in the washer/dryer. The housekeeper will collect them.
      • Pull out sleeper sofa if it has been used.
      • Leave sheets and blankets on the beds.   
      • Please leave our home tidy.
